A primary cutaneous pigmented malignant melanoma with ultrastructural characteristics of a nevi raised at the inferior palpebra of an albino patient is studied histopathologically, histochemically, ultrastructurally and clinically and presented as a case report. Melanoma is a rare lesion in albinos. Of the reported melanomas in albinos in only two cases pigment was detected. This case with the pigment diagnosed in the lesion and thyrosinase activity positive is studied with reference to the related literature.
