3 patients out of 121 with the diagnosis of Hodgkin disease and a minimum follow up of 24 months developed chronic progressive radiation myelitis. 2 of them have been treated by mantle and one with total nodal irradiation. The latent period between radiotherapy and the development of this complication was 6, 7 and 15 months. No obvious benefit was observed from corticosteroid therapy in any of the patients of which two are still living with neurological sequels in their 9th year of follow up.
