PBV (PTAENT BLUE VİOLET), KROMOLENFOGRAFİ, LENFADENEKTOMİ

Clinical and histopathological evaluation of the regional lymph nodes in advanced malignant tumors of the upper extremities and the hand are mandotary. Postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy are determined by the evaluation of regional lymph nodes in such cases. Patent blue violet (PBV) was injected to 11 patients with cancer of the upper extremities and hand to determine the efficiency of this injection during the dissection and during the histopathological evaluation. The excellent staining of the axillar lymph nodes faciliated nodal selectivity during lymphadenectomy and histopathological examination.
