Between January 1989 and October 1990, 25 patients with locally advanced cervical carcinoma received two or three courses of neoadjuvant chemotherapy including cisplatinum. After the neoadjuvant chemotherapies, external and intracavitory RT were performed to the patients. 12 % of the patients achieved a complete response and in 40 % of them a partial response were achieved . After CT+RT 68 % of the patients achieved CR and 32 % PR. Total response rate was 100 %. The results were compared with literature.
