TREATMENT CHARTS IN RADIOTHERAPY CENTERS IN TURKEY

In this trial, a questionnaire was prepared to investigate which parameters are used in treatment charts of the radiation oncology departments in our country. Eleven centers answered this questionnaire which was send to 15 centers. Total of 109 parameters were in this questionnaire under the 6 main subjects (individual, medical, simulation, physical, daily record, treatment summary parameters) These parameters were determined considering a similar, large european trial. As a result of this questionnaire, 36.3%, 18.3%, 45.4% of the charts contained less than 50%, 50-70%, and more than %70 of the parameters, respectively. This kind of trials should be continued to establish a standardization with minimum requirements for the control of the quality assurance and also the usage of a common language in multicenter trials.
