Abstract
It gives us useful data to search the historical background of a subject. When we look at the studies that have done on the cancer epidemiology we interestingly understand that epidemiological research is source of new invention on the cancer etiology. Epidemiological studies that have been done since 1950 have shown that the occupation is one of the risk factors of the cancer and there is a significant relationship between the exposure and disease which are important in the cancer etiology. In this review we have examined the long and interesting historical development of cancer epidemiology and the applications of the subject in our country.
