MALIGNANT SCHWANNOMA METASTASIS IN THE LUNG (CASE REPORT)

A case of a histologically confirmed malignant schwannoma in the lung is reported. We have accepted it as lung metastasis of the tumor in extremity rather than primary malign schwannoma of the lung. The clinical features, histological diagnosis, and prognosis of the tumor are reviewed. Furthermore, successful surgical treatment of the case is described. She survived five years after the operation, and now there aren't any clinical and roentgenological signs of recurrence.
