Abstract
Preleukemia or premalignancy is a rare condition in childhood neoplastic diseases. A 7-year old boy with moderate anemia, reticilocytosis and normoblastosis, who initially responded well to steriod therapy and revealed about six months later acute myeloblastic leukemia, is described.
