Abstract
Clinical and histological prognostic factors that influence the overall survival in breast carcinoma were analysed in 47 premenopausal patients with breast cancer. To avoid errors of interpretation due to retrospective analysis patient selection was standartized according to clinical features. Clinical stage, histologic grade of the primary tumor and the lymph node metastasis, the number of histologically proven axillary lymph node metastasis and the presence of necrosis within the tumor were found to correlate with overall survival.
