Caregivers' roles and support necessities in symptom management for patients with cancer advanced

Abstract
The difficulties related burden care of caregivers who care for
patients with cancer at advanced are more than caregivers care
for patients receiving curative treatment. Because, patients'
symptom frequency and density may increase depending on
the cancer and its treatment. As a result of this, caregivers may
have difficulties especially in terms of symptom management
of their patients. In this context, emotional stress, physical and
physcological health problems are frequently seen symptoms
in caregivers and their life quality standart is poor. On account
of decreasing of these problems, it's required to inform patients
and caregivers to their necessities on symptom management
by health professionals. Decreasing stress of caregivers
will contribute to the their patients' life quality obtaining better
care for their patients.
