METHODS
A survey with 321 people measured the consciousness level in
cancer; and another different survey with 335 different people
measures the consciousness level in blood donation and hematological
diseases.
RESULTS
Of the 321 participants, 74% regarded cancer as an incurable
disease. 45% of all thought that advanced stage cancer patients
should'nt be connected to life support units. Of 335 participants
58% of all did never donate blood.
CONCLUSION
Cancer is seen as an incurable disease, unlike cancer, hematological
diseases are seen as curable in community.
