Leser-Trélat sign of patient with recurrent pleural effusion

Leser-Trélat sign includes the combined sudden onset of seborrheic
keratosis and internal malignancy, most commonly adenocarcinoma
of the stomach. A case of Leser-Trélat sign in a
75-year-old healthy woman is presented. To search for an underlying
malignancy, the invasive and noninvasive investigations
were performed and found to reveal any evidence of malignancy.
To date, almost all cases of Leser-Trélat sign have been reported
in association with an underlying malignancy. There have been a
few report associated with healthy individuals in literature.
