During 1978-1988, a total of 146 patients with non-Hodgkin's lymhoma admitted to Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty, Oncology outpatients clinic were reviewed for gastrointestinal involvement. 22 patients (14 gastric, 8 intestinal) were identified and their charts and pathologic reports were examined. Median Survival time was 8 months (3-117), overall 1 year survival was 55% and 5 year 33%. Primary diagnostic and therapeutic approach was surgery. Prognostically important features were stage, histologic type, grade and degree of local extention.
