Every-year, the survival rate of childhood leukemia and malignant tumors are increasing. The management of these patients and their families requires a team consisting of pediatric oncologists, psychiatrists, social workers and oncologic nurses. Psychological support should be given according to the age of the patient. All children should be informed about the nature of the therapies and procedures. On the other hand, supportive and informative meetings should be arranged for the families of the patients. Adolescent children should be evaluated individually, which is better for their outcome.
