Abstract
Primary myelofibrosis which is characterized with splenomegaly, leucoerythroblastic, and poikilocytic peripheral blood smear morphology is a myeloproliferative disorder. It has not been postulated a standard and a curative therapy for the disease in randomized studies up to now. In this report we presented our experience about a patient who received 3x106U IFN-alpha 2b three times per week and about the marked reduction in bone marrow fibrosis in addition to the regression in clinical signs.
