Abstract
The balance between maximal eradication of local disease and complications are important. Normal tissue complication probabilities in the radiotherapy field and tumor control probabilities can be calculated with dose volume histograms in which they had been obtained from 3-D computerized planning units. The effect of inhomogenity correction on dose distribution can be evaluated. In this study, the treatment plans of optic glioma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma and non small cell lung carcinoma case had been evaluated with 3-D planning units.
