Abstract
Subperiosteal localization of aneurysmal bone cysts is relatively
rare compared to the other localizations in the bones.
The mass can cause symptoms dependent upon compression
and edema of the surroundings tissues. In this study, we present
a 14-year-old girl with a vaguely painful, firm, immobile,
enlarging mass measuring 4x4x3 cm on the distal-anterior
part of her left humerus. The mass, which was first realized
one year before, was removed by the extraperiosteal-intralesional
route using tourniquet.
